The Lean Enterprise Workshop Is designed to give students a practical approach that will obtain real results. Over the course of 7 week’s students transform their capabilities and develop skills that they can actually use and share in the following 7 workshops:
Introduction–perform hands on assessment and gauge “how ready” your company is.
Lean Culture–learn what it means to embrace the spirit of kaizen while establishing a team-orientated organization.
Value Stream Mapping–Complete a current state value stream map and then learn how to improve and develop the future state.
Stability and Process Improvements–learn how to improve both process and demand stability.
Just-In-Time–Learn to determine and establish standard work while leveling the load and understanding systems such as heijunka in a “hands-on” learning format.
Measuring–Learn to establish metrics and measurements that align with objectives.
Sustaining–Learn techniques that support the maintenance of your results and ensure continuous improvement.
Along with guidance from an experienced continuous improvement and supply chain professional each student will go through real scenarios as they work to transform a fictitious organization, Murphy’s toys. Students will leave the lean enterprise workshop well prepared to go back and make improvements in their organizations.
