Yakult Factory Tour

  On May 03, 2019 APICS Anaheim had the pleasure of visiting the Yakult Factory in Fountain Valley California.  Yakult shared with APICS Anaheim some of the important historical events that lead to Yakult's creation.  We saw pictures and heard about Dr. Minoru Shirota's vision.  Yakult was also kind enough to show us their production process which included the entire door to door value stream.  Equipped with Andon lights, state of the art Injection Molding Machines and a very impressive takt time, this facility was well worth the visit.  Thank you Yakult for allowing APICS Anaheim to come and see your facility.  We look forward to visiting again.
